NRA Show Chairman Bill Anton turns relief pitcher next month at Wrigley Field. As the Chicago Cubs face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates May 17, Anton will throw the first pitch.
"It’s a thrill,” says the Cubbies fan and founder of Anton Airfood. “It’s one of the last great traditional ball fields. It still has all the character and traditions of the game.”
The pitcher’s mound is familiar territory for Anton. As a student at Oak Park High School in suburban Detroit, Anton was a pitcher and first baseman. Watch out, Pirates!
Dusty Baker might leave you in for 10 innings if you throw a strike!
