Sometimes, it's the small things in life that count.
Holland-based Koppert Cress has wowed the world with its tasty micro-greens. The award-winning horticulture company — which laid down some roots in Lake Success, N.Y., in 2006 — will share its world of flavors, colors and scents with NRA Show 2009 this May.
FYI, not all micro-greens are, er, green. Koppert Cress's popular Sechuan buttons, found in Africa, China and South America, are yellow. It's also known for leaving a champagne-like tingling on the top of the tongue.
In any event, they make good food great. Small greens, big flavor.
