The National Restaurant Association’s annual NRA Show is as inspiring as a trip to the moon, according to last year’s “Share Your NRA Show Story" contestant Sharon Ako of Inspiration Corporation in Chicago.
Sharon Ako's NRA Show story: "I currently work for Inspiration Corporation located in the Uptown area of Chicago. I never attended an NRA show until I began working at my current job. My husband and I...are always impressed with the new food items, equipment and presentations. I have many memorable moments like the year when we purchased salt and pepper shakers that were actually on Oprah's favorite thing's list. Most of all I delight in sharing all the new innovative ideas with my culinary classes so they also can share in my culinary experience and know what the future of culinary holds. It's like going to the moon and coming back to tell all the Nasa students what it was like."
