What do the National Restaurant Association's annual NRA Show and a fashion show have in common? More than you may think. This year, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s (NRAEF) premier fund-raising event, Salute to Excellence, will debut Trend, a one-of-a kind fashion show designed with NRA Show 2010 exhibitors exclusively in mind.
Trend, emceed by Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s Chopped, will be unveiled during NRAEF’s Salute to Excellence and include the latest trends and styles in foodservice and restaurant apparel and gear. Industry legends, student scholarship recipients, Salute to Excellence award honorees and foodservice celebrities will walk the runway modeling participating apparel and small wares items.
Ever imagine a dress made of whisks? How about a uniform constructed from recycled plastic bottles? Or a gown created entirely of spatulas? Let your imagination cook up the wildest of possibilities.
